The objective of the Northwest Florida Theological Institute is to glorify God by equipping men and women with a biblical, theological, and practical education empowering them to apply and proclaim the inerrant Word of God for Christian service. The Northwest Florida Theological Institute was founded to make available, valid, and affordable Theological degrees, diplomas, and/or Certification to all who labor in His service. The high standard of instruction and guidance is reflected by our devoted staff at Northwest Florida Theological Institute.     The Northwest Florida Theological Institute is a ministry of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida, organized in July 2025. The state of Florida recognizes this institution, which is committed to biblical inerrancy. Northwest Florida Theological Institute is in partnership with Faith International University in Tacoma, Washington.

  • PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES

    Northwest Florida Theological Institute offers facilities, guidance, and instruction for students and undergraduates’ studies and grants certificates, diplomas, and degrees that testify to educational readiness to pursue vocational opportunities in the Church.

    NWFTI is committed to stated objectives and to regularly measure its effectiveness through assessment to ensure both the fulfillment of the stated objectives and continual improvement of this institution. The objectives are pursued through the development of a community of Christian teachers and students who seek to strengthen their beliefs by exegeting and interpreting Scripture, who uphold doctrines expressed in the historic creeds and confessions of the church, and who labor together in fellowship to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

    The institution’s curriculum is rooted in a commitment to the plenary and verbal inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, the original documents of which are inerrant and infallible as to truth. Through its curriculum, the institution remains committed to providing a theological and biblical education to last a lifetime. Such an education should enable students to develop careers in service to our Lord in the church and to assume greater duties as new opportunities arise in a constantly changing world. The curriculum emphasizes various educational and spiritual goals as agreed upon by the faculty.
